How do we work in

Working
directly and in partnership:
we work directly with the
villagers and with the schools and through a ‘follow-up’ team of volunteers
led by Dominique Hounkonnou.

Consulting
through participative workshops:
From the start of the joint work,
there has been an
emphasis on consultation and
joint planning through regular participative workshops between us and our
partners.

Setting up
regular communication channels: newsletters
are sent in both directions to keep everyone in touch with developments both
in Bonou and here in England.

Ensuring
financial accountability and follow-up –
the ‘follow-up’ team is responsible
for the regular monitoring of the work, ensuring financial regularity and
planning. They send regular reports to us
